POLICIES

Membership & Tuition

Lessons are billed as a monthly membership, not per lesson.

Tuition remains the same each month, regardless of the number of lessons (some months have 3–5 lessons due to holidays).

This structure allows for consistent scheduling and predictable billing.

Monthly Rates:

- 30 minutes: $175/month

- 45 minutes: $245/month

- 60 minutes: $320/month

Sibling discounts may apply.

Registration & Billing

A registration deposit is required and is applied to your first month.

The first month may be pro-rated depending on your start date.

All families are enrolled in auto-pay. Payments are drafted at the end of the month prior to the billing cycle.

Scheduling & Calendar

The year is divided into Spring, Summer, and Fall semesters.

Lessons occur weekly at a consistent reserved time.

Scheduled Breaks (No Lessons):

- Memorial Day

- July 4th

- Fall Break (dates vary)

- Thanksgiving Break

- Winter Break (dates vary)

Lessons continue as scheduled on other holidays.

Lesson Format & Curriculum

Curriculum and teacher development are overseen by academy leadership.

Lessons follow a structured progression while adapting to each student.

Families may request progress evaluations or curriculum adjustments at any time.

Performances & Group Classes

Students are invited to:

- Annual recitals

- Community performances

- Monthly group classes (Zoom)

- Annual Music Mastery Festival

Group classes are open to all instruments and levels and focus on composers, repertoire, and musicianship.

Attendance, Cancellations & Makeups

Student Absences: No make-up lessons are provided for missed or canceled lessons.

Students may request:

- An online lesson at their regular time, or

- A video lesson with instruction and assignments.

Teacher Absences: If a teacher is able, lessons will move online at the scheduled time.

If a teacher cannot teach:

- A substitute teacher may be provided, or

- A make-up lesson will be scheduled.


Online Lesson Option:

- Online lessons are available as an alternative to in-person lessons.

- Students may switch to online lessons when needed using the cancellation form.

Communication & Account Management

Families can update billing information and settings through their account portal.
